On linux, when I have selected text in the Description, Comment, or Add Comment field, right clicking brings up the context menu, but I can't make use of Cut or Copy because the text gets deselected.

The Summary field works correctly.

This sounds similar the loss of focus issue for tooltips under linux and is likely a platform bug. Could you have a quick look to see there is an existing bug?

Can't reproduce anymore on Eclipse 3.3 and 3.4. Nathan, please reopen if you are still seeing this.
