More details on the files outside the working set which show up in the task view: I selected the package [x] a.b.c [x] a.b.c.d [ ] a.b.c.e [ ] a.b.c.f and would expect to see only task from the first two, but also see tasks from the last two (ie subdirectories of selected a.b.c). No tasks outside this tree. What happened to this one? (In reply to comment #3) See Bug 293061. Other than that, I do not see any clean way of having an option of gathering recursively and shallow for workingset adapted resources. I can think of a checkbox next select button [ ]Gather Markers for children also / Gather Markers strictly for the contents But this does not address the general flexibility that is highly desirable here. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
