Description John Arthorne CLA 2006-08-16 13:59:30 EDT
We should merge the work being done by the Eclipse community to implement a win64 implementation of SWT into the main win32 code base. This will require extensive review of the new code and a significant effort to merge and test the pervasive changes. [SWT]
Comment 1 Anurag Gupta CLA 2006-09-08 11:23:21 EDT
What's the expected timeline for merging win64 implementation of SWT into the main win32 code base?
Comment 2 Grant Gayed CLA 2006-09-08 14:33:46 EDT
hopefully before the end of the year
Comment 3 Johan Kannala CLA 2007-03-28 03:29:18 EDT
Any news on the status of the win64 implementation? It is rather important for our app to be able to run in 64-bit mode.

Intel plans to contribute a x86_64 build of eclipse 3.3 for Windows soon after its release on the other platforms, see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=57151#c109 .
