Description Krishna Venkatraman CLA 2006-08-10 17:17:08 EDT
In a report parameter that is of list type/combo type, there should be a flag that lets me set the first item in the list to be the default value.

For the prarameter input dialog has the "default flag", i assume the reporter want to have this in the parameter input dialog.
Comment 2 Wenfeng Li CLA 2006-09-21 16:39:12 EDT
How about let user enter a value as the default value? Such value does not have to be on the selection list.
Comment 3 Jerry Cheng CLA 2006-09-21 23:46:13 EDT
Current logic for list/combo type parameter:

1. If set default value of parameter, select this value( or show this value in the input text)
2. If not, select the first item as the default value
3. For cascading parameter, if don't set default value, don't select the first item. Because need fire selection changed event to retrieve next values.
