Description Danilo Costa Viana CLA 2006-08-10 08:56:06 EDT
I'm writing a JSP file. Then I start to comment some code. Imediately the JSP validation mark an error saying that I did't close de comment. Then I properly close the comment but eclipse doesn't refresh the text and still mark the error. To get rid of it, I have to close and reopen the file.

I'm using Eclipse 3.2 with WTP 1.5 on a SuSE 10.1 Linux machine.

still true for 2.0.2.
addional example:
<br /> is blamed for having no value -- because i don't think anybody ever wrote a schema or dtd with br having a value, this maybe can help to track down, what's responsible?

a less grave workaroudn is to remove the offending line and maybe the adjoining lines, too, and restore them. this seems to wake up the validator, which "validate" in the context menu does not do, and the marks are gone.

i am not sure inhwofar this bug is related to 130399.

Actually, I think it's a duplicate of #130399, or a strictly related one.

+1, it is annoying to have a whole page marked red when an error is definitely corrected.

I believe this to be a duplicate of bug 285285.
