Found in I20060807-2000...possible regression?

New workspace, access CVS, check something out and make a change (and save)
Now try "Compare With -> Latest from HEAD".

I get a prompt to switch to the Team Synchronizing perspective but:
Choosing "Yes" opens the perspective but doesn't open the compare
Choosing "No" opens the Synchronize view in the current perspective but also doesn't open the compare view.

Didn't this just used to open the compare view??
Comment 2 Michael Valenta CLA 2006-08-10 11:41:22 EDT
Yes, we made some changes to accomodate logical models which resulting in the switch. I will investigate whether it will be possible to get the old behavior back but I can't gaurantee it.
Comment 3 Michael Valenta CLA 2006-08-10 16:27:09 EDT
Change does not affect 3.2.1 so we only need to investigate for 3.3.
Comment 4 Michael Valenta CLA 2006-12-06 15:45:56 EST
To do this properly would require a fair bit of work. Deferring...

Comment 6 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2019-09-06 15:31:12 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
