Description Mik Kersten CLA 2006-07-28 16:25:30 EDT
This would make it much easier to create patches.
Comment 1 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2006-07-30 08:43:54 EDT
Hmm. I thought there was issue for this already...
Comment 2 Mik Kersten CLA 2006-07-30 15:22:37 EDT
The flip-side of it is bug 103932, so I changed the titles of these two to make them more clear. I would rather have the patch applying first, but I'm guessing that you guys would prefer having the dnd the patch creation, so the priorities are set accordingly.

Is there already drop-adapter/listener? If so, I can probably look at this next week.

PS: I didn't realize we already have d-n-d support for applying patches...
Comment 4 Mik Kersten CLA 2007-02-21 17:54:59 EST
We have a drop listener for the editor that will accept files. It would just have to accept whatever transfer type it gets when the change set lands on it, and then invoke the patch creation.

What is the class name?

That part I figured. :-)

I wonder if Team wizard would allow to hook in additional pages or link to the attachment wizard... We better check that before Eclipse 3.3M6

See AbstractRepositoryTaskEditor.registerDropListener(..)

Balazs: are you interested in this one?
Comment 8 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-07-17 21:46:32 EDT
BTW, I looked at this at some point and this stuff is actually specific for each VCS provider, so no common API.
