Description Paul Fullbright CLA 2006-07-25 17:38:49 EDT
Currently, schemas can only be included from projects open in my workspace, not plugins in my target workspace. I can change the text to point to a correct plugin schema, but finding it can be difficult. Showing what's available is more than just useful; it's just about necessary.

not sure what your scenario exactly entails. can you elaborate?
Comment 2 Paul Fullbright CLA 2006-07-25 18:20:37 EDT
Sure.

I have only a few projects in my actual workspace. All other eclipse plugins are in my target workspace (specified via Plug-in Development/Target Platform in preferences). I create a schema, and I'd like to add (for instance) the commonExpression schema as an included schema. It's not available via the UI, since it's not in a project in my workspace, but from what I understand, it works perfectly fine if I simply specify the included schema in text as defined in bug 51981.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got
resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some
reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it.
The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you
still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is
(for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the stalebug whiteboard tag.
