This is a WST/JFace Projection bug for displaying the tooltip when hovering over the + sign. The same happens when you edit HTML files and create a very long element (such as <body text="#000000" bgcolor="#FFFFFF".......> ). Once we will create our own tooltip display (with coloring and such), this bug will not effect the PHP IDE. But this is not planned for the near future and you can open an enhancement for it. enhanchment request 151236 - should also mind this issue This bug is not relevant anymore |
e.g have a php function with very long parameter: <? function abc($param = '...................very very long parameter exceeding the screen borders...'){ } ?> -fold it. -Move mouse over the (+) sign - *** The description popup is displayed for a one second. *** The description popup is cut by the application borders.
