The issue seems to be in the DeleteAction which only accounts for IField and IComplexType. It's relatively simple to fix this for model groups and attribute groups but the interfaces need to be enhanced a bit to make this work for directives and simple types.

Verified with M-1.5.1-200609221939. Attributes and model groups can be deleted, directives and simple types still don't work. Let's open a new bug to fix this in 2.0.
