I have tried Mylar for Ruby On Rails project and it did not work all well. I have used RadRails plugin from radrails.org.
Quick unfiltering via Alt-Click and Alt-RightArrow did not work in common Project Explorer view. I am on Eclipse 3.2 on Linux.

If that doesn't get it going for you please comment.  Also note that we're considering changing the UI mechanism for triggering this in order to avoid the problem: bug 112233
