We need an example eRCP workbench application that serves similar to the sample UI  we have in core ECF. It will allow for a listing of providers and the ability to connect to them. I think to start, I'll only support the presence providers so you can use IM apps on an eRCP-enabled device.

Uh, what? How is this bug relevant to bug 18481?

If you meant bug 184481, I disagree. An eRCP UI is not "directly" related to the Sudoku application.

Setting target milestone to 1.1.0.  Note we already have a simple rcpchat application at http://ecf1.osuosl.org.  This can be used...or not...as starting point.

Given the limited work on eRCP going on these days, it's unlikely that we can prioritize any resources for this.  If resources and interest become available, please reopen.
