Currently the only way to get a project from one workspace to another is to export the source into an archive and then import this archive in the other workpsace. This is kind of unfortunate and a drag and drop would be a good metaphor here.

Passing to JDT. I think this should be doable completely within the Package Explorer implementation...

I don't think this is a common scenario. Nice to have, but no plans for this.
