Description Missing name Mising name CLA 2006-05-28 12:26:42 EDT
Eclipse SDK Version: 3.2.0 Build id: I20060512-1600
Eclipse Java Development Tools Version: 3.2.0.v20060512-1326-F7snp6fks-pZ8dn Build id: I20060512-1600

When generating a constructor for an anonymous inner class (which is illegal) e.g. via outline view, anonymous inner type node, context click, Source/Generate Constructor(..); ".. using Fields..." fails gracefully (presumbaly as a result of bug 113062 being fixed), but ".. from Superclass..." presents a type selector dialog (seemingly only ever with the Object class listed), and upon OKing shows an error dialog with the cryptic message "See error log for more details." The source code is not modified.

The "Generate Constructor from Superclass..." code manipulation should fail as gracefully as ".. using Fields..." when applied to anonymous types for which it is illegal to have explicit constructors.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
