Description CDE Administration CLA 2006-05-24 13:00:35 EDT
OS : RHEL 3.1
Must fix or not a must fix: YES
Build date: 0523
Component name: TPTP
Blocking: NO
Language: EL
Bitmap Location: Y:\defects\el\TPTP_2010.JPG
Tester Name: Peppy Florou
Steps to recreate the problem/Problem Description:
Launch Eclipse Workspace
Select ?Run > Profile...
Launch configuration shows
Double click ?External Java Application?

Decrease the width of the dialog box so as for the hover text of the tabs (i.e. Monitor) to be enabled. It's possible though that this won't be reproducable in the English version, so I would suggest to try a localized one where a tab (not the first of the last one) name consists of at least two words.

The problem is that the hover text=the tab name (which has a hitletter) therefore the hover text appears as an unresolved mnemonic.

thx
Peppy

The same hover problem has been detected in test case 27.002220 TPTP

Steps to reproduce the problem:
The prerequisite is PerformanceExample.class (unzip PerformanceExample.zip)

Select Host tab
Select any Host from the list. Select ?Edit? button, Edit Host dialog shows.
Click Cancel to quit Edit Host dialog
Select ?Test Connection? button.
Select ?Main? tab.

Select ?Destination? tab
Select ?Monitor? tab
Check the following:
a.	Java Profiling
b.	Basic Memory Analysis
c.	Execution Time Analysis
d.	Method Code Coverage
e.	Logging Agent Discoverer

Select (but not check) ?Probe Insertion?
Click ?Edit Options?.
Click on Filters tab
Click Profile to close Profile dialog

Right click on Profiling agent and select ?Attach to Agent?
Right click on Profiling agent and select ?Start Monitoring?
Mouse over all actions in the Profile Monitor view to show tooltips

Verify: Tooltips are all shown and translated

Problem description:
Kindly pls check hover text of Refresh Views. The same issue applies for the English version.

Targeting to post 4.3 release.
Comment 13 Eugene Chan CLA 2007-01-31 18:33:26 EST
Target to future. Cannot be contained in 4.4 due to limitation of resource.
Comment 14 Eugene Chan CLA 2007-01-31 23:35:02 EST
Move target back to 4.4. Trace defects are mistakenly targeted in bulk move.
Comment 15 Eugene Chan CLA 2007-04-10 18:22:00 EDT
this is related to bug 160924
Comment 16 Eugene Chan CLA 2007-04-17 15:54:48 EDT
Remove '&' in Monitor tab name, this is how platform tabs behave.
Comment 17 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2009-06-30 14:14:49 EDT
As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
