(In reply to comment #0) > [..] Recent versions provide WebDAV access [..] Hi, I googled a bit and this blogpost made me think that the WebDAV api might not be a good chioce. http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2005/09/15/410941.aspx Summary: Terry Myerson, General Manager of Microsoft Exchange Server, announces that the use of WebDAV API is "de-emphasized" for future versions and a WebServices API should be used instead. That being said, i'm very interested in a Exchange Connector and i'm willing to help creating it, despite my limited knowledge of eclipse development and exchange apis. regards, Dominik The WebServices API is promising since the Eclipse WebDAV support has not made it into the Platform. If you undertake this I suggest posting to the mylar-dev@eclipse.org list since our documentation on creating Connectors is still sparse: http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Mylar_Integrator_Reference#Creating_Connectors MS Access is a database that can be accessed using SQL. Ibatis is a generic SQL connection tool that works using JDBC, SQL maps in an XML format The generic SQL Connector allows access to a variety of SQL databases, so can probably also be configured to access MS Acces, when you are willing to open your DB access ports. Generic SQL Connector see bug#184532 and http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/Incubator/Generic_SQL_Connector Maybe you can give the Generic SQL Connector a spin with MS Access and report any failings or problems. In addition, Tasktop provides a Microsoft Outlook/Exchange connector that supports email, tasks and calendar items: http://www.tasktop.com/connectors/ So it looks like this can now be closed. |
