The Changes section in Create Patch wizard is populated by a background job. There are a few problems with this:

1) The user will not know when the population is complete since some changes may show up before the background search is finished. This is not normally a problem since the operation is usually not run on a large input. Ideally, we would have feedback in the wizard itself that the search is still going on.

2) Cancelling the wizard does not vcancel the background search

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
