Description Andy Kaylor CLA 2006-05-18 14:13:03 EDT
The ACTL allocates a block of memory and some resources whenever an agent registers. Currently, this agent structure is never freed. In the RAC code on which this structure is modelled, the agent is released as a result of scrubbing the process. The ACTL doesn't currently scrub its process list (the CCTL has a duplicate list which is scrubbed), but I think it could.

Retarget to 4.4 as 4.3 is closing down and only essential fixes allowed.
Comment 2 Karla Callaghan CLA 2007-01-15 19:29:17 EST
Added effort estimate: 2 days
Comment 3 Karla Callaghan CLA 2007-02-05 14:01:31 EST
Transferring bugs with 4.4 target to new owner, Igor. If their priority is not set to P1, then the bug is only a stretch item for that release.

patch

Currently ACTL does scrubing of process/agent data when it gets notifyProcessScrub command from CCTL.
The patch just adds closing of agent named pipe.

Resolving since the patch is checked into CVS

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
