Description Niels Gylling CLA 2002-04-19 08:28:38 EDT
It would be extremely nice if the keyboard bindings were customizable.
Even better, to update a key binding, clicking on the menu item while holding
down the (say) Ctrl key would bring up a dialog which would allow a key binding
for that menu item to be entered.
This idea was inspired from a Windoze editor named MED from www.utopia-
planitia.de which I use for heavy text editing (such as block shift, macros and
search/change in all active files).

Otherwise, eclipse rules!

There have been several requests for customizable key bindings, but this will
not make it in for 2.0.
