There is an extra white line (1 pixel) between all lines in the edit which can be seen if the background colour is set on for example comments which span multiple lines. This does not happen in WTP.

Changed the background color through the preferences 'Text Editors' page and 
saw no problem in the editor's lines painting. 
In case you have a complete recreation of this bug, you are more then welcome 
to add new comments.

-Launch Prferences -> PHP -> Editor -> Syntax Coloring.
-Set colored background for the PHPDoc 
There are empty pixel lines between the colored PHPDoc area.

As far as I can see, this is not a PDT bug. 
The same behavior occurs in WST when editing html or any other web content. 
See the attached image that displays the same behaviour in an html comment.

this is an old bug and will not be fix according to Shalom
