I don't know how I got into this state. I have a Java editor open.
Pull down the edit menu. Tons of duplicate menu items. This may not be Java 
specific.

I see:

The dups are all editor contributions.

Suspect editor contribution changes in Workbench, rather than text editor 
itself.

Unfortunately no. I rarely pull down the edit menu; the only time I do is to find out why one of the accelerators failed.

I've seen the same problem on M5, running Win2000.  Sorry, no scenario to 
reproduce.

I don't have reuse editors turned on. But I use search frequently.

Reproduced by opening the plugin.xml editor, switching to the source page, and 
closing the editor. 
Fixed in: SubContributionManager, SubMenuManager

Reopening.  Had to back out of changes due to bug 18274.
