Description
James Moody
I just got this in M5 as well. This appears to happen in non-Java editors, I'll move this to Platform UI, sorry for the noise. The dups are all editor contributions. Suspect editor contribution changes in Workbench, rather than text editor itself. Just got this in 20020425, Linux/Motif. Still occurs in 20020501 Have you noticed any pattern as to when it occurs? Unfortunately no. I rarely pull down the edit menu; the only time I do is to find out why one of the accelerators failed. Still occurs in 20020519. James, do you have Preferences>Workbench>Search>Reuse editors... turned on? *** Bug 16018 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Randy, I've seen the same problem on M5, running Win2000. Sorry, no scenario to reproduce. -- Dan I don't have reuse editors turned on. But I use search frequently. *** Bug 16825 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reproduced by opening the plugin.xml editor, switching to the source page, and closing the editor. Fixed in: SubContributionManager, SubMenuManager *** Bug 17856 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 16961 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reopening. Had to back out of changes due to bug 18274. Able to fix 18274 in SubMenuManager. Reapplied changes for this fix. |
