Description Curtis d'Entremont CLA 2006-05-01 16:30:48 EDT
There are several places where dates and times can appear.. and I get different date and time formats in each of these:

- history view: dd/mm/yy hh:mm am/pm
- compare with -> another branch or revision -> dates: dd/mm/yy HH:mm:ss
- compare with -> another branch or revision -> Add Date: mm/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss

They should all use the current locale settings. If some of them come from CVS repository they should still be converted to the local client locale.

Localizing the Add Date dialog is really something that needs to be done at the SWT level (there's already a bug for that in SWT land). I believe that the date is the History view is localized so it is the Date that appears in the dialog that should be modified. Not critical for 3.2 though so I'm deferring until 3.3.

We didn't have time to address this in 3.3 either.
Comment 4 Remy Suen CLA 2007-05-28 22:52:46 EDT
The Add Date dialog and Compare With dialog seems to show the same times for me. Granted, the Add Date dialog uses a 12-hr system whereas the Compare With one uses a 24-hr system, but they are indeed showing the same time for me. This is on 3.3M7.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
