Description Kazimieras CLA 2006-04-21 05:35:42 EDT
I started using eclipse on Fedora core 5 for x86_64 platform. When I select a text I see white stripes surrounding each word(please see attached screenshot). I must admint that on fedora core 4 it was everything ok. Since I upgraded to fc5 selected text in eclipse editor doesn't look good... It might be a problem with my distro, however other applications seem to be ok.
Here is my setup:
eclipse-SDK-3.2RC1-linux-gtk
jdk-1.5.0_06-fcs.i586 (Sun)
gtk2-2.8.17-1.fc5.1.x86_64
gtk2-2.8.17-1.fc5.1.i386
cairo-1.0.4-1.x86_64
cairo-1.0.4-1.i386
pango-1.12.1-1.fc5.1.x86_64
pango-1.12.1-1.fc5.1.i386

Step to reproduce:
1. Install fedora core 5 on amd64
2. Install Sun jdk-1_5_0_06-linux-i586.rpm
3. Dowload and extract eclipse-SDK-3.2RC1-linux-gtk.tar.gz
4. Run ecplipse using jre provided by jdk-1_5_0_06-linux-i586
5. Open java file and select some text.
