Use case:
I am very very lazy and I tend to work on a lot of different things in the course of a day.
This means that I tend to generate lots of entries in those comboboxes that remember entries.
But most comboboxes will only remember about 8-12 entries.

I have submitted patches in bug 72151 and bug 90569, but those patches have been rightly criticised because comboboxes don't work well with large numbers of items.

I agree :-) but I'd like to be able to choose raw functionality over pure ease of use.

It would be nice if there were a centralised eclipse setting which the various "history preserving" comboboxes used for the number of items to remember.

Thanks.

We are not currently planning this feature. If we did I would imagine the retrofit work required would be huge.

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
