Description Tod Creasey CLA 2002-04-12 14:31:41 EDT
There are a series of problems with the Available Updates page

1) The use of the Light blue colour for the second title is almost unreadable on
Linux
2) The widgets are crushed up against each other on Linux and very hard to
follow
3) Query Settings has a floating "Available Updates" entry when you expand Query
Settings that is not visible on either Linux or Windows
4) The Search Now button is cut of on both platforms
5) The title is unreadable in high contrast black (white text)
6) Spelling errors in main title (heigher should be spelled higher)
7) There is a lot of white space between Last Search and Search Results

Please note that JFaceColors will be providing a Hyperlink Colour in upcoming
builds that you may consider using for the links in your text.

We are currently referring to this PR from our checklist of accessibility
failures.
Please consider for F3.

Comment 5 Wassim Melhem CLA 2002-06-11 18:33:00 EDT
All those problems have been resolved.
A couple of comments:
1. re: item 1 above, the current color is pretty visible on Linux, and if you
don't like that particular color, you can change it on the Install/Update
preference page.
2. re: item 7 above, the white space between Last Search and Search results is
fine. It is there to show the search progress bar when search is being
performed. A little white space is much better than shifting the text up and
down when search is being performed.

Verified in F3.
