In 3.1.x, when doing a very 'quick' run, sometimes the console just appears and dissapears (meaning that you can see that it got the output and just after that the console 'vanishes').

I've seen this happen when running quick unit-tests in java and in the pydev plugin (actually, it happens more in the pydev plugin... probably because it is faster to call a python shell and finish it than it is to create a java shell and finish it -- but it is quite common in java too, especially when I write short unit-tests in java).

Another thing is that I've never seen this happen on a long-running process, and after running it the first time and not getting the output, if I just re-run it again, the output usually appears.

Thanks,

Fabio
