Please set priority to P1
Comment 2 Eric Labadie CLA 2006-04-07 13:24:53 EDT
This needs to be reusable code for consumers to leverage in their own UI.

What do you mean by reusable ? Defined API ? Service interface support for no eclipse users ?
I will set the final sizing once I have this information
Comment 5 Marius Slavescu CLA 2006-05-17 00:24:25 EDT
Would this feature provide support for compressed files also? I think that is very important when importing remote files.

The GLA sensor should also support commpressed files, and then the UI should be able to specify which entry from the commpressed file (if there are more then one) should be extracted and imported.

Comment 6 Eric Labadie CLA 2006-05-31 13:23:13 EDT
this feature is dedicated solely to symptom catalogs, not log files.
Comment 7 Eric Labadie CLA 2006-06-16 14:58:58 EDT
The zip support is not required from the AC perspective. I reviewed the design and have no problem with it.
Comment 8 Dave Smith CLA 2006-06-22 09:24:12 EDT
Moving this to correct project: Monitoring Tools
Comment 9 Dave Smith CLA 2006-06-22 09:27:04 EDT
Adding plan keyword as it has been approved as a candidate for TPTP 4.3. Resources are available to complete this work.
Comment 10 Alex Nan CLA 2006-06-27 19:09:50 EDT
LTA already supports HTTP and FTP log imports. It supports also importing zip files containing log files of the same type. But all this support is in the UI code.
This would be a good feature for the GLA to add a sensor that can read zipped log files.

Please update the TPTP Symptom catalog import wizard documentation to reflect the new functionality added by this feature.
