hapenning since at least 4/4 daily build (GTK) on mandrake 8.2. Stable build
(3/21) works ok.

1. download and unzip daily build
2. start IDE
3. click menu item File|New|Project
4. pick either Java==>Java Project or Simple==>Project
5. enter project name, then clich FINISH
6! error dialog 'File /MyProject/.project' is read-only.'
