I tried using eclipse 3.2M6 but my workspace settings are ignored.
Eclipse always starts up with the default workspace path.
Using Switch workspace shows my configured path and starts the correct workspace.
Closing eclipse and start again uses the default path again.

I have the same issue on WinXP + JDK 1.5

A workaround is to pass -clean (e.g. adding -clean to eclipse.ini as the first line).

I have the same problem on Windows2000 + JDK 1.4.2, and "Preference > General > Startup and Shutdown > Prompt for workspace on startup" option does not work neither.

-clean in eclipse.ini works for me. Thanks.
