TPTP driver from build: I20060401
OS: RHEL 4.0-GTK 2.4, Windows 2000
System LANG: English or Hebrew

After disabling IAC "Allow remote connections" preference, a port previously selected for the connection remains in "listening" state until the workbench is shut down.

Steps:

1. Open IAC preferences dialog by selecting "Window -> Preferences -> Agent Controller -> Integrated Agent Controller".

2. Make sure the only selected check box is "Enable".

3. Select the "Allow remote connections" check box and notice the Port for connections (e.g. accept the default one - 10002).

4. Open shell terminal and issue the command:
'netstat -a | grep <PORT_NUMBER>' on linix or
'netstat -a | find "<PORT_NUMBER>" on windows.
Verify the port is listed.

5. Navigate to the IAC preferences page again and uncheck "Allow remote connections".

6. Rerun a command listed in step 4.

Expected result:
No port <PORT_NUMBER> listening.

Actual result:
The port is still reported in "listening" state.

7. Shut down eclipse.

8. Run a command listed in step 4 again.

This time the port is not listed, as expected.

As a step (0) [test pre-req ], should make sure there is no listening on <PORT_NUMBER>.
