Found this when adding org.eclipse.ui.editors extensions in 3.2M5

Editor classes that I add to my project, but leave the icon property empty, do not  ever get entered into the editor registry.

This may be expected behavior (I know now that the icon property is required), but there is no warning given to the user about the problem when edting the plugin.xml.

This is a regression from Eclipse 3.1.2 (which does warn).
