Description
Ed Burnette
Really, the search should be done using the pre-decoration label. I'm not sure if this is actually possible since the searching is happing at the viewer level and not the model level. Moving to UI for comment. Karcie, I was told that you implemented this search feature. If you're not the proper person, please forward to the appropriate party. Assigning back to the UI inbox. It looks like the SWT Tree widget that is providing this behavior. I'm not really sure what the right answer is here but since it effects all TreeViewers, I think it is a Platform UI issue. Not sure if we can do anything about this - it's the platform behaviour. Hitesh is now responsible for watching bugs in the [Viewers] component area. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
