Description Jörg Heinicke CLA 2006-03-14 09:54:21 EST
Inner classes are added to imports though outer class is already imported. This leads to a "unused import" for the inner class.
Comment 1 Martin Aeschlimann CLA 2006-03-21 02:02:36 EST
Can you please provide a reproducable example?
Comment 2 Jörg Heinicke CLA 2006-03-21 07:53:08 EST
Example:
You have an import for java.text.DateFormat in your class. Now somewhere in your code you type "DateFormat." The dot starts the auto completion feature. Now either typing "Field" and a further dot (to access static method) or selecting the inner class Field using Enter leads to additional import of java.text.DateFormat.Field.
