Also, notice the vertical line between the trim drag handle and the text. Is that a legacy separator that can be removed? I recommend just using a CLabel, which uses an ellipsis in the middle, rather than doing our own truncation. For consistency with view and editor tabs, we should probably truncate at the end instead (although CLabel currently only truncates in the middle). I find truncation in the middle to be highly unreadable. That's really a separate issue than the wasted space though. This was fixed up in 3.3. |
