Description Aurélien Pelletier CLA 2002-04-09 08:28:26 EDT
When there is an error in my code an error message is displayed in the status
ligne at the bottom of the screen.
The message is in red and it is not very readable on my setup. I couldn't find
any way to change this color.
Using control panel/display/appearance I can change the font and the size of
the message but not the color. It seems to be overrided by eclipse but there is
no way to configure it.

my configuration
NT 4 SP6, sun JDK 1.3_02, eclipse build 20020301
On other computers with linux or win98 the message are in red.
Comment 1 Aurélien Pelletier CLA 2002-04-09 09:30:44 EDT
on the last ligne above read "message are in black" not red.

Comment 2 Mike Wilson CLA 2002-04-09 10:00:27 EDT
The UI team picks the color for that field.
Comment 3 Nick Edgar CLA 2002-04-09 14:33:48 EDT
Should not hard code colours in workbench.
Should use system colours where possible, and/or have prefs.
Comment 4 Tod Creasey CLA 2002-04-11 16:06:19 EDT
There is now an error colour preference. See the AppearancesPage in build >
20020411
