Can you supply the unicode escaped characters that will result in a match for one of the entries in the import wizard that uses middle dot? I don't know how to enter any of the matching characters using the IME. チーム・プロジェクト・セット
Above is the complete string for the "Team project set". If you enter セット ("Set" in English), there is no hit.
If you enter the first チーム\, the Team Project Set will hit correctly.
It appears to be a problem with the java.text.BreakIterator - it thinks that Team Project Set is all one word when translated into Japanese. When I switch to using the ICU BreakIterator, I get a match when "Set" is entered (in Japanese, of course). The Platform migration to ICU4J will be done soon (should be done for M6) so this bug will get resolved when that happens. This bug still exists in M6. This won't be fixed until the UI adopts the ICU BreakIterator, which hasn't happened yet. This should be fixed now that bug 120463 is resolved. verified in RC1. closing. Thanks. |
