Description Douglas Pollock CLA 2006-02-13 15:57:29 EST
I20060213-0800, GTK+ 2.8.8, KDE 3.4.3, X.org 6.8.2, Linux 2.6.14

I'll be editing some Java source file with the Problems view visible. When I hit Ctrl+S to save, the Problems view goes blank. The contents of the Problems view remain blank until I make some other change affecting markers.

Just to show I'm not entirely crazy.
Comment 2 Douglas Pollock CLA 2006-02-13 16:01:20 EST
It seems to happen more often when I have grouping enabled (?). Note: this is an SMP box.
Comment 3 Tod Creasey CLA 2006-02-13 16:03:05 EST
This is a problem with creating all of the entries. We should try to make a virtual tree.
Comment 4 Douglas Pollock CLA 2006-02-13 16:17:51 EST
Nothing in the log. Grouping by Java Problem Type usually, but I've seen it happen with no groupings as well.
Comment 5 Tod Creasey CLA 2006-02-13 16:21:27 EST
Confirmed with Doug that this is an empty set of problems rather than the table not painting.

I have added in code to cancel the stale updates (I can make this happen too pn Windows but like Doug it is intermittent). I am going to leave this open as it is hard to determine from this change if it is enough to fix the problem.
