- if I continue typing the Backspace key after above scenario (after typing several keys) I get a StringIndexOutOfBoundsException each time (see attached log.txt). 

Same happens if I open code assist, enter 'a', type Backspace more than once.

verified in 20060214-0800 on Win XP using the find/replace patch from bug #120237 and the field assist example.  No exceptions in the log.
