Description Markus Keller CLA 2006-01-18 14:35:49 EST
I20060118-0800

- File > New > Project...
- CVS > Projects from CVS
- select a repository, press Next
- type module name "asdf"
- press Finish

-> was: nothing happens, except for this log entry:
The server reported an error while performing the "cvs expand-modules" command.
: cvs server: cannot find module `asdf' - ignored

-> expected: There should be an error message telling the user that the checkout failed and why. It would be nice if the wizard could be opened again on the "Select Module" page with the module name set to the last entry, such that the user can quickly correct the typo.

We do not plan to address this in 3.3.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
