The ListEditor exposes no means for the subclass to impose a validation on the items as the user types them in. If someone liked this idea, they could also think about providing a way to suppress the 'up' and 'down' buttons for unordered lists.

There are currently no plans to work on this however I would be happy to look over a contribution
