Which version of Solaris? Which version of GTK+? Which desktop environment and window manager? BTW: I checked it on Solaris-Motif + CDE, it works there. Moving Dougs bugs I had the same problems under Linux, XOrg 6.9.0 and KDE 3.5.0 Turns out this was caused by a Xkb option: "grp:alt_shift_toggle". As soon as I removed it from xorg.conf, everything was OK. Is this still a problem in 3.3?
