Description Sri Doddapaneni CLA 2005-12-12 20:25:36 EST
Port RAC-based perfmon agent to Itanium/Linux. This contributes completing TPTP support for Itanium/Linux platform.
Comment 1 Hendra Suwanda CLA 2005-12-23 11:39:26 EST
Sri, we need similar port on Itanium/Windows.
Updating the Summary.
Comment 2 George Christelis CLA 2005-12-26 05:12:59 EST
Hendra, there is already an enhancement request registered for porting the relevant agents to Itanium/Windows (Bug #120476). This enhancement will only incorprorate a port for the Linux agent.
Comment 3 Tyler Thessin CLA 2006-01-10 10:28:01 EST
Investigating availability of hw to do this port
Comment 4 Dave Smith CLA 2006-01-10 10:39:30 EST
Changing this to an enhancement as it is adding support for a new platform.
Comment 5 Sri Doddapaneni CLA 2006-01-14 18:27:49 EST
Converted to defect and tracked as a part of 108584. If HW is not available in time to George, it will be transfered to the team at Intel.
Comment 6 Dave Smith CLA 2006-04-12 11:27:32 EDT
The Linux ports have moved out to 4.3.
Comment 7 Karla Callaghan CLA 2006-07-07 15:01:12 EDT
George reported that the Perfmon Agent was running on EM64T and IPF systems in May. Please clarify if that meant both Windows and Linux and if further testing is needed before this bug can be marked as Fixed.
Comment 8 Dave Smith CLA 2006-10-20 18:29:58 EDT
Removing Hendra from cc list because he no longer works on TPTP.
Comment 9 Dave Smith CLA 2006-10-20 18:31:46 EDT
George, is this completed and can be closed or do we need to defer it to 4.4?
Comment 10 Dave Smith CLA 2006-11-10 02:57:15 EST
Deferring to 4.4 but if it has been completed, please close it.
Comment 11 Dave Smith CLA 2007-02-07 02:26:17 EST
Added a sizing for 20 hrs. Please adjust if you think this is not accurate.
Comment 12 jkubasta CLA 2007-04-03 20:52:40 EDT
Dave, please confirm with George and Antony that this defect was addressed.
Comment 13 Dave Smith CLA 2007-04-04 15:07:25 EDT
We will assume this work was completed. It will be tested to verify.
