menubarPath="additions" can be omitted for objectContribution but must be available for viewerContribution to show up.

Talked to Nick who suggested opening a PR for consistency.

Moving Dougs bugs

I'm also seeing this issue. It droves me nuts since the documentation for the viewerContribution states that "If the path is omitted, this action will be added to the standard additions group defined by IWorkbenchActionConstants.MB_ADDITIONS. ".

Action, popupMenus and viewerContribution extensions are deprecated in favor of org.eclipse.ui.commands/org.eclipse.ui.menus. No work will be planned about actions.
