Description Tod Creasey CLA 2002-03-20 10:45:19 EST
The titles for all of our views are always white with a blue background. People
who use the opposite colours (light background, dark text) may not be able to
read it. We may want an option to use the defaults.

This relevant section 508 entry is 1194.21 c)

(g) Applications shall not override user selected contrast and color selections
and other individual display attributes.

This is also an issue for Tabs. When a tab loses focus we also set the
background to white and the foreground to black - we should honour the current
settings. This is noticeable in the High Constrast Black setting where we
should have white text and black background on deselection. We need to be
consistent with the Views.

Colors used by view editor tabs should be consistent. Also remember the file
name in the editor tab was not visible in high contrast black.
Comment 3 Tod Creasey CLA 2002-03-20 12:07:47 EST
The tab issues have been logged as a seperate PR Bug 11924. The Views issue has
to do with us using the icon and text combination. Need a decision on action
for this one.

We should switch to the purple highlight colour that IE switches to.
Comment 5 Tod Creasey CLA 2002-03-21 09:06:59 EST
Views do use the correct High Contrast Colours if you restart Eclipse. Closing.
