Description
David Wooten
I would have said this was related to bug 118673, except that the conditions that lead to that bug didn't appear until between WTP 1.0 M8 and M9. Still, my guess is that the server_config.wsdd file is getting lost somewhere amidst the undeploy/redeploy. David, can you detail the steps you are taking to undeploy then redeploy your Web application containing the Axis service? Now that you mention it, I often see a message appear in the console that says something like 'missing server-config.wssd' followed by a message saying that it is creating a new one. Where does this file belong in my project, how do I create it, and how do I make sure it stays there and is deployed with each re-deployment? Here are my steps for re-deployment: - In the Servers window, right click Geronimo v1.0 server - Click Add/Remove projects - Remove the project I am working on...click Finish - Make changes to my java class - Perform clean/rebuild on project - In the servers window, right click Geronimo server and click Add/Remove again - Add my project to the server, click Finish At this point I navigate my browser to the web service. I can see some parts, like the wsdl subfolder and the wsdl file. When I point to the service (http://hostname:port/webapp/services/servicename?wsdl) I get a 404 not found error. Thanks for your help. Hi David, Since this problem is very similar to the problem in bug 118673 which had been fixed and is in RC5, could you please retry your scenario? Thanks! This problem had been fixed in earlier drivers. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 118673 *** This is part of a mass update to close out all stale WTP bugs which are in the resolved state without an appropriate targeted version.
