Stack trace when window showed
It seems Eclipse tried to open license window, but not only one time - it tries to open it at least 20 at same time! Lawrence, since originator mentioned "license window" ... can you take a look? Sergey, 1. What version of WTP are you using? 2. What other plug-ins do you have installed? I see you have the subversion plug-in installed. 3. Can you include the sample XSLT that causes this problem? 4. Was this a one time problem or can you easily reproduce it? 1. Lastest 1.0M9. 2. Subversion. Just right now I installed XSLT plug-in (but only xslt transf. work). Configuration included in config.txt attachment 3.4. I will try to reproduce. Step-by-Step is something like that: 1. Create new xsl file 2. Insert about ~40 lines from clipboard 3. Insert next ~40 lines from clipboard 4. Insert next ~40 lines from clipboard 5. Press Ctrl+Z (undo) And that is the point when Eclipse freeses. Created attachment 30879 [details]
configuration details
Sorry, it seems not license window - almost the same situation right after Ecplipse startup, but not 20 processes - only 3. Do you have any more indication of what is happening when the workbench has frozen? Have you exceeded your physical memory limit? No. In fact, I'm using "-vmArgs -server -Xmx200M -Xms200M" to prevent out of system memory and there was no hard disk work or processor. It like program wait for user input in hidden window. Oups, sorry. Comment #10 is incorrect, becose I thought about another bug, happened this morning. Comment #10 should be read just as: No. There were not messages about low system memory, but active work with hard disk. Interesting, that in task manager columns MemUsage was about 135M, VM Size was about 230M, hard disk works, but PF Delta value was 0, so there were no errors with memory using or swap space. Sergey, my apologies for picking this up so long after 1.0. Are you still experiencing this problem on WTP 1.0.1 or current 1.5 builds? If so, can you provide specific instructions on how to reproduce as I haven't been able to? Your comment #6 was good but I don't have your specific XSL file or what you're copying and pasting into. Also, are you editing the XSL in WTP's XML editor or a third party XSL editor? Any update? I used to work with standard xsl-editor from WST plug-in. It seems that the bug is duplicate of Bug 102822. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 102822 *** There was no mention of formatting in this bug. Sergey, did you really mean for this bug to be a duplicate of bug 102822? Or was it a typo and you meant another bug? This is part of a mass update to close out all stale WTP bugs which are in the resolved state without an appropriate targeted version. If you feel this bug was closed inappropriately, please reopen. |
