Predefined Facet Sets is another option Re-purposing this bug to track the quest for the new "preset" term. My personal bias is that the term should not include the word "facet" in it. That's because presets are now introduced to users on the first page of the new project wizards. A new user would not know what a facet is at that point. We don't get to define and explain it until the user gets to the facets selection page (second page). One possibility is "Common Configurations". I'd like to resolve this issue for 1.5. Please post any ideas / opinions you have as soon as possible. Kosta, this is purely a UI discussion, so there is no need to change any API that currently uses the term "preset", correct? Some alternatives: Configuration Profile Just UI (at least for 1.5 release). Changed all UI strings to refer to presets as "Configurations". This is a UI changed only. No api or extension points have been modified. The change has been released into the RC3 stream. This is part of a mass update to close out all stale WTP resolved bugs from the 1.0.x and 1.5.0 timeframe. If you feel this bug was closed inappropriately, please reopen. Thanks, John Lanuti |
