Description Jörg von Frantzius CLA 2005-11-09 09:41:31 EST
I used to have a 1.4 JRE as the default JRE in my workspace. Then I changed the
workspace default to a 1.5 JRE and made the 1.4 JRE the project specific JRE in
the projects that make up my product.

Upon product export, I now encounter compile errors due to the plugins being
compiled against the 1.5 JRE, even though their projects specify a 1.4 JRE.

The support at pde build level has been implemented.
Moving to PDE UI.

You will now be able to export multiple plug-ins and compile against different JRE levels simultaneouly.

For that to be possible however, you will need to set the execution environment either in the build.properties or manifest.mf file, and associate the execution environment with a JRE on the Java > Installed JREs > Execution Environments preference page.

Take a look at the plug-in editor in the next I-build.

Please see bug 148552. Suspecting regression issue. (Actually, I can't find any version that this works in, but see bug 148552 for details...)
