- open the New Java Project wizard
- click on JDK > Configure default...
- change a JRE name or add/remove JREs

=> in the New Java Project wizard, the combo with the JREs is not updated

I would also rename the link to 'Configure JREs...', since you can do more on
that page than choosing the default.
