Description Bjorn Freeman-Benson CLA 2005-10-25 17:28:44 EDT
Regarding the dashboard, I'm wondering if the ideal thing would be to have a
measure for "number of new bug comments in the past X days". Seems like
that's a great liveness measure.
Comment 1 Diego Figueroa CLA 2006-04-17 13:21:21 EDT
Would this measure be the combined number of comments for all bugzilla products of a project?

Also should the code take the isprivate field from the comments table into consideration before counting the post?
Comment 2 Diego Figueroa CLA 2006-04-18 11:19:09 EDT
Also how many days back should the code look for? Comments for the last 7 and 30 days?
Comment 3 Bjorn Freeman-Benson CLA 2006-04-19 02:46:31 EDT
Re comment #2 - yes, 7 and 30.
Re comment #1 - yes; ignore isprivate comments.
Comment 4 Diego Figueroa CLA 2006-04-20 12:16:04 EDT
How do I incorporate the number of bug comments into the liveness?
Comment 5 Bjorn Freeman-Benson CLA 2006-04-20 16:57:28 EDT
Add the number to the CVS download and I'll look at the data and figure out what a good function should be.

Patch on bug 134275 applied.
Comment 7 Bjorn Freeman-Benson CLA 2006-05-09 17:50:12 EDT
Can't tell if this is fixed because the dashboard CSV files are empty.
Comment 8 Diego Figueroa CLA 2006-05-10 12:20:04 EDT
There is a bug with the CSV downloads (which we are trying to fix right now) were if the stats haven't been computed for the day it will not detect the latest date.

However, I ran the stats manually and you can see the number of comments and the CSV files.
